Some artists and calligraphers from Taiwan paid a visit to Pingyao county, in Shanxi province, on Oct 26, for some exchange activities that included improvised artwork reflecting traditional Chinese culture and the close relations of the people on both sides of the Taiwan Straits. Their purpose was also to increase communications and cooperation to promote Chinese culture overall.
