Shanxi vice governor meets with Australia's ambassador to China

The vice-governor of Shanxi province, Wang Yixin, had a meeting with the Australian ambassador to China, Sun Fang'an, on Oct 28, in Taiyuan, Shanxi's capital, where he described Shanxi's economic, social and cultural development in recent years for Sun and the delegation she led.
Wang said that Shanxi and Australia have had good communications for some time, especially in culture, education, agriculture, sports and investment, where they have cooperated a lot. He went on to note that Shanxi has investment in 14 enterprises in Australia and 64 Australian enterprises have been established in Shanxi and that he hopes the connections will grow stronger in various industries and that, by co-developing industrial parks and introducing Australian technology, they will have winning results.
Wang concluded by saying that the Shanxi government will give all the support they need to provincial enterprises that want to invest or establish branches in Australia.
