The Taiyuan Iron and Steel Group (TISCO), in the Taiyuan-Wusu Free Trade Zone, in the city of Taiyuan, Shanxi province, has become the zone’s first enterprise to get import - export customs declaration and inspection certification, as of Oct 30.

Because modern logistics is so important for competitiveness in a globalized world, TISCO set up a subsidiary for more diverse growth and an international trade platform that called for certification.

Now it can provide services, such as booking containers, handling customs procedures, storing and delivering commodities, and acting as an agent for international procurement, sales, and freight forwarding for other enterprises.
