The town of Pingyao, Shanxi province reports that it is planning to put 50 million yuan into eliminating potential hazards and ensure safety this year. It is focusing on the following: hazards in electric power circuits, power grid reworking, and capacity expansion; hazards in its water supply; hazards in household electric power supplies for more than two million; the gas industry; and hazards in key companies and public institutions.
