2. Currency Exchange
RMB is the currency used in Tianjin, with monetary unit yuan(￥), also called “kuai” orally. The currency values are divided into 1 jiao, 5 jiao, 1 yuan, 5 yuan, 10 yuan, 20 yuan, 50 yuan and 100 yuan. Among these, 1 jiao, 5 jiao and 1 yuan have come in bank and coin forms.
China UnionPay card is acceptable for all ATMs in Tianjin.
Currency exchange services for commonly used currencies such as the U.S. dollar, Euro, yen, HKD. can be traded at large banks in Tianjin.
