The world's largest container ship –“Beauty Maersk”– has made its maiden voyage to Tianjin Port.

"Beauty Maersk”, the world's largest and most advanced 3E grade 18,000 Transmission extension unit (TEU) container ship was successful berthing alongside the Tianjin Port Pacific International Container terminal on July 25.

This is the first voyage of “Beauty Maersk”for commercial operations since it was launched on July 17 from Pushan, Korea, and is also the largest container ship Tianjin Port has ever received.

It shows that Tianjin Port’s container ship handling capacity has been successfully upgraded to a new stage, and also has solidified its container hub port position in the north of China.

Maersk Line is the world's largest container shipping company. Currently, the company has nearly 600 container vessels, the total capacity of which is more than 2.7 million TEUs.
