Infrastructure construction of the Tianjin Free Trade Zone (Tianjin FTZ), especially the power supply establishment, has been accelerated once again since the State Council's approval at the end of last year.

The Tianjin Binhai Power Supply will achieve deep integration between power grid planning and industrial policy adjustment, enterprise entrance and infrastructure construction projects.

Aiming at establishing a global first-class power supply network, the company provides power supply with a reliability of 99.9995 percent. The average annual black out time is limited within three minutes.

In order to provide sufficient power support to the Tianjin FTZ, State Grid Corporation Tianjin Binhai Company is going to build seven, 17, and one 220 kilovolt, 110 kilovolt and 35 kilovolt transformer substations, respectively. It will also expand one and four 220 kilovolt and 110 kilovolt transformer substations, respectively, according to the plan.

In addition, the company will try its best to achieve 100 percent of the FTZ power supply device standardize rate and power supply automation coverage rate by 2030.
