Yu Boli, 58, is a lead conductor of the Beijing Railway Administration Tianjin High-Speed Train Line. The Tianjin Line is responsible for train maintenance work in Beijing each year during chunyun, the Spring Festival travel rush. The trains drive in to undergo maintenance in the evening and drive out in the early morning.

As chunyun begins, Yu has moved from Tianjin to Beijing to help with the cooperation. His everyday duties not only include providing support to conductors, but also monitoring train maintenance.

Yu has not celebrated Spring Festival with his family members in Tianjin for 10 consecutive years in order to stay at his post in Beijing.
