The Tianjin Symphony Orchestra held a concert on April 9 at the city concert hall, playing masterpieces of Haydn, Tchaikovsky and Skriabin , reported the Tianjin Daily.
The concert is the second of a 2016 series “Haydn - father of the symphony” promoted by the local symphony orchestra.
Led by Austrian conductor Nikolaus Harnoncourt, the orchestra performed well-known classical works - including the Romeo And Juliet Fantasy, Symphony No. 49 in F minor and Le poeme de l'extase.
