The Teda International School, a government-owned, non-profit, coeducational day school founded in 1995 in Tianjin’s Economic Development Area, says that its purpose is to provide an outstanding education for students from nursery school to grade 12, of all nations.
It says that its aim is also to develop global citizens in its diverse community environment, while providing a site where students can express their ideas effectively and their imagination.
The school has 60 faculty members and administrators during the 2015-16 school year, with 50 percent of the instructors from North America, 25 percent Chinese, 9 percent European and 16 percent from other nations. It is also a member of the East Asia Regional Council of Overseas Schools and the Association of China and Mongolian International Schools.
