The 2016 International Symposium on Plasmas for Catalyses and Energy Materials was successfully held in Tianjin recently, according to a statement from Tianjin University on August 2. Ninety-three scholars and students from China, the US, the UK, France, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and South Africa attended the seminar.

The delegates to the conference gave reports and held discussions on various issues such as the application of plasma catalysis, hydrated electron effects, hydrogen energy, greenhouse gases utilization and tail gas governance.

The seminar further promoted the development of the integration of plasmas catalysis and energy materials. The results of the seminar will be published in the international journal -- Topics in Catalysis.
