In the past eight months, investment promotion in Tianjin has made stable progress.

According to the Tianjin Municipal Commission of Industry and Information Technology, from January to August, 2016, Tianjin attracted 5,342 investment projects worth 310.689 billion yuan ($ 46.6 billion), a year-on-year growth of 12.12 percent.

As Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei develop collaboratively, more and more investment from Beijing and Hebei is targeted to Tianjin. In the past eight months, Beijing invested 112.511 billion yuan, 36 percent of total investment, and Hebei province invested 22.868 billion yuan, or 7 percent.

In addition, the investment from the Yangtze River Delta reached 43.998 billion yuan and that from the Pearl River Delta was 28.296 billion yuan, accounting for 14 percent and 9 percent respectively.
