Tianjin's new energy automotive enterprises attended the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, an important sustainability event in the Middle East, on Jan 15 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

ICONIQ and Masdar Eco-City showcased the prototype ICONIQ 7 series energy vehicle and the 5 series self-driving concept car which was co-developed with Masdar.

ICONIQ signed a memorandum of understanding with W Motors and Motor Corporation of Abu Dhabi on Jan 14, meaning these three corporations will work together in the Abu Dhabi area.

The CEO of ICONIQ, Bruno Lambert, said that ICONIQ will provide the first five-level automatic motorcade at the 2020 Dubai world exposition, and achieve mass production by the end of 2023. In the same time period, infrastructure and the laws and regulations pertaining to self-driving will mature.

ICONIQ is an electronic vehicle company based in the Tianjin High-Tech Area that has cooperated with W Motors and Microsoft to establish an international network.

Masdar Eco-City is an advanced innovative center established by the Gulf Cooperation Council, and is one of the most sustainable communities in the world.
