Two liquid cooling products and the latest updated advanced computing platform were on display at the 33th International Supercomputing Conference (ISC 2018) that opened on June 25 in Frankfurt, Germany.
"Torus", a liquid cooling interchanger and "TC4600E-LP", a liquid cooling server, were developed by Dawning Information Industry, also known as Sugon and headquartered in Tianjin.
At the conference, entrepreneurs and scientists shared their views on the future and challenge of supercomputing and discussed issues of artificial intelligence, big data and quantum computing.
Li Bin, general manager of the Sugon's product department, said the integration of high performance computing, cloud computing, big data computing and intelligent computing is a trend of supercomputing.
"The combination not only means the integration of core technology, but also cooperation among industries," Li said.
An advanced computing service platform, integrated with the "Internet plus" service mode, will offer clients better online support and can give solutions to different industries, he added.
