Shanghai confirms key tasks for implementing strategic outlines of intellectual property in 2014

In March, the Intellectual Property Joint Conference Office of Shanghai City confirmed its Key Tasks for Implementing Strategic outlines of Intellectual Property in 2014, which specifies 19 key jobs for deepening the intellectual property mechanism reform and legal systems, increasing the ability of intellectual property creation, promoting conversion and application of intellectual property, optimizing the environment for protecting intellectual property, and reinforcing service and talent cultivation.

It also focused on a comprehensive intellectual property management system and construction of a law enforcement mechanism within the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone and intellectual property administrative management, and a comprehensive law enforcement system reform in Pudong New District and the establishment of an intellectual property court and other reform and innovation subjects.

It involved more than 20 member units of the Intellectual Property Joint Conference, and specified the responsible departments and specific measures for carrying out the work tasks.
