On April 25, 2014, the Intellectual Property Joint Conference Office of Shanghai City and the Foreign Affairs Office of the Municipal Government held the 2013 Shanghai Intellectual Property Situation Briefing.
Over 80 people attended the briefing,including foreign consular officers in Shanghai, representatives of foreign-funded enterprises, representatives of foreign commerce chambers, members of the Brand Protection Commission and domestic and foreign media .
LU Guoqiang, secretary general of Shanghai Intellectual Property Joint Conference and director general of Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration, introduced the overall development and protection situation of intellectual property in Shanghai in 2013.
Representatives from the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, Shanghai Public Security Bureau, Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration, Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, Shanghai City Management Law Enforcement Bureau, Shanghai Cultural and Administrative Law Enforcement Squadron, Shanghai Customs, Shanghai Procuratorate, Shanghai Superior People's Court and other related departments participated in the briefing, and made exchanges with foreign consular officers and journalists.
