Objective:

The theme of The 10th Shanghai International Intellectual Property Forum is “Intellectual Property and Innovation Environment”. Intellectual property is the effective drive for technological progress and economic development. And innovation is the basic source and value goal for intellectual property. On the other hand, intellectual property is one of the pillars to innovation ecosystem. By studying best practices both home and abroad, it will help provide more references and solutions to the sustainable development of innovation environment. This Forum intends to connect government officials, judges & legal experts, IP researchers & service providers with IP owners & practitioners, to explore the roles of IP policy, IP protection, IP service and IP talents in the optimization of innovation environment.

Background:

Shanghai International Intellectual Property Forum is an annual grand event and was first held in the year 2003. It is the IP forum of national level in China and provides an interactive platform for international exchanges in the area of IP policy and practice for government agencies, research institutions, legal bodies and industries.
