The 2014 China Ocean Economy Expo (2014 COEE) is the only state comprehensive exposition in the oceanic economic field. It will be held in Zhanjiang, Guangdong province, from Dec 3-7.
The 2014 COEE adopts a government-dominated, market-oriented, company-operated policy. With the theme of “Ocean in Blue, Sailing with a Dream”, it aims at accelerating the construction of Guangdong’s ocean economic zone and promoting the development of a regional economy.

Zhanjiang promotes development and cooperation
Zhanjiang, an emerging port city in Guangdong province, is stepping up its cooperation with other cities in the Beibu Bay rim. Zhanjiang mayor, Wang Zhongbing, made the remarks at the press conference on Dec 2.
