The magic mix of basketball, music and star talent is stronger than ever as five-time NBA champion Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers and leading pop star Jay Chou reunited for the 2012 Sprite new TV commercial. Bryant and Chou will meet again for a face-off of wild talent.
Under the slogan "Be Uncontainable", the two stars will lead a campaign that aims to encourage Chinese youth to follow their inner inspiration and break free from self-imposed restraint to express themselves passionately. The commercial was aired starting from March 5 in China. The 2012 Sprite rematch follows the first encounter between the Los Angeles Lakers' MVP guard and hip-hop celebrity after Bryant challenged Chou to a basketball match in Sprite's 2011 TV commercial. Bryant beat Chou with his iconic basketball skills but Chou took him by surprise when he slam-dunked while surfing on a skateboard.
In 2012 Chou will challenge Bryant for a music match-up as the two leading stars play one-on-one again. The stakes are higher and the game will reach its supreme level. The court will fire up with click tricks, wicked moved, tweets and messages, music and mastery. Chou will strum his guitar and he has got some hoop tricks up his sleeve. But Bryant will prove he knows more than dribbling and dunking and he'll take on the stage to sing and play guitar.
The mudslide occurred at an iron ore mine in the Araltobe township of Xinyuan county, Ili Kazak autonomous prefecture, a spokesman for the prefecture's fire brigade said.
