China-shaped gold nugget found in Xinjiang

A natural gold nugget shaped like the map of China was found in Qinghe County, Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region last week.

A local herdsman found the 7.85-kilogram gold nugget partially hidden in the dust. The gold ore also looks likes a giant footprint or a man sitting on the top of mountain from different perspectives.

A lawyer told the Nanjing-based Xiandai Kuaibao newspaper that the natural gold nugget is state property and cannot be owned or sold by the herdsman.
