No swan song for bird with frozen beak

To a water bird living in the city, the most miserable thing is to be unable to sing and eat.

A swan, which lives on the Peacock River of Korla, in Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, experienced this fate when its beak was frozen shut by ice as the temperatures plunged to about minus 10 Celsius on Wednesday.

This swan alone seemed to face this problem, as its fellow fowl were fine.
