Beggars change clothes before changing 'shifts'
Cold weather is no deterrent for professional beggars.
Two of them were caught on camera changing clothes while changing shifts at a corner of a fast food restaurant in Chongqing street, one of the busiest commercial streets, in Changchun, Northeast China's Jilin province, xwh.cn reported on Thursday.
One of the beggars put on normal clothes while the other changed into his begging costume. The former intended to lend his ragged cotton-padded overcoat to the latter, who reportedly refused such kindness.
The "beggar" on duty then went over to the middle of the street and exposed his bare upper body to subzero temperatures.
Speaking of cold temperatures, one poor swan had its beak frozen shut by ice, in our final story.
