0MILAN, Italy - Italian police have arrested 10 people and are investigating 112 others for allegedly viewing and disseminating videos and images through an international online pedophile network, the ANSA news agency reported on Thursday.
Another 112 people are now being investigated as part of an international crackdown on online child pornography, the report said.
They were part of an expansive pedophile network of some 700 members across 28 countries including France, Portugal, US, Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Israel.
The network featured thousands of videos and pictures involving children under 11 years old and even newborn babies being sexually abused.
The ANSA report said the mastermind of the criminal association, a 53-year-old Italian, was arrested in Milan on Thursday.
