PARIS - French President Nicolas Sarkozy on Monday night announced to raise the terror alert to the highest level in southwestern France, where four people were killed at a Jewish school.
Sarkozy vowed to mobilize all means to find the gunman who shot dead four people earlier in the day at a Jewish school in the southwestern city of Toulouse.
The announcement came after the shooting took place outside the Ozar Hatorah Jewish school at around 8:00 am local time (0700 GMT), killing a professor, his two sons, and another 10-year-old student before the gunman fled on a motorbike.
The attack follows the killing of three soldiers in two similar shootings last week in Toulouse on March 11 and in nearby Montauban on Thursday.
