The Workmanship Demonstration Pavilion in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, offers a new way to combine leisure entertainment with traditional Chinese culture.
Covering an area of 3,000 square meters, the pavilion was built on a once-flourishing cotton mill site from the last century and has been open to the public since 2011.
Visitors are able to see craftsmen still demonstrating crafts inscribed as national intangible cultural heritages, including silk weaving, Fuyang bamboo paper, Zhang Xiaoquan's forging scissors and West Lake silk umbrella.
Workshops are available for people who want to have some hands-on fun.
