The National Art Museum of China has enhanced its cooperation with educational institutions by signing an agreement with the Shanghai Conservatory of Music on the mutual promotion of art education in early December in Beijing.

The Shanghai school becomes the second college, following the China University of Petroleum in Beijing, to sign such a deal with the Beijing museum, making it an education base for college students.

The newly formed alliance between the two sides will allow the museum to share its collection of works of art with the Shanghai school and give lectures on fine art to enrich students' understanding.

Also the two will exchange staff members and work out how to facilitate the conservatory's sources in music to enrich the museum's public program.
