Atta ul Mustafa is a Pakistani national currently living in Nanjing, Jiangsu province. He is a graduate student from Nanjing Medical University and he joined in the latest "Go Jiangsu" trip to Suzhou's Wujiang district on Nov 17 and 18 to learn about the area's efforts and progress in preserving ecology.

Traveling and exploring new places has been my favorite hobby and I am glad to have an opportunity to explore the beauty and ecological preservation of Wujiang, a historical place in Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province.

The place is not only the geographical junction of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai but also a central area of the national strategy of integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region.

Our journey began with the exploration of the Tongli National Wetland Park situated in Wujiang. The park features a natural lake marsh wetland ecosystem that contains four wetland classes and eight wetland types and one of the well-preserved natural wetland systems in the Yangtze River Delta region.

Living in a big city is fun, as there are plenty of things to do and you can never complain about lack of events there, but on the other hand, I developed a strong desire to go back to nature. I simply missed the views which I cannot experience in the city center and they are never ever like the sunbeams shimmering through the leaves and the calmness in the air.
