Driving along the highway in Linxia, Gansu province, one can enjoy the serene scenery, with gentle breezes and endless green meadows, and at this time of year in particular, the expansive landscapes of Linxia are adorned with blooming wildflowers under clear skies.

At the intersection of the Linxia and Hezheng sections of the Taizishan tourism cluster lies the Yunshang Hezhou health resort. The cultural and wellness tourism base spans 30,000 square meters and offers a blend of folklore, health-focused cuisine, leisure, pastoral scenery, and eco-friendly farming.

With its lush green landscape, clear waters and abundant birdsong, it aims to provide a retreat for visitors seeking a slow-paced natural tourism experience.

"Currently, it's peak tourist season, and visitors are flocking to the tourism cluster from all around the country, boosting our business," said Yao Xinzhou, head of the resort.

Yao said that as it is located more than 2,300 meters above sea level, the resort experiences significant temperature fluctuations between day and night, relying heavily on electricity for its accommodations and kitchen facilities, with peak monthly electricity usage reaching over 13,000 kilowatt-hours.

"The stable operation of our base relies mainly on consistent power supply, and this is made possible by the dedicated service from the local power supplier," he said.

Linxia county has formulated a special inspection plan tailored to the electricity usage characteristics of the resort, including high-temperature load forecasting and safe operation strategies.

It has also increased the frequency of inspections for lines and equipment, utilizing infrared thermometers, ammeters, and other technical tools to monitor and record the condition of both indoor and outdoor electrical lines, said State Grid Gansu Linxia Power Co.

In a bid to ensure uninterrupted power for rural tourism industries and to boost local economy, the power company said it will continue to provide sufficient, stable and reliable power for local business operators.
