The State Grid Suzhou City Suburban Power Supply Company organized staff members from local power supply offices to conduct an inspection on rooftop distributed photovoltaic power generation equipment on Monday, so as to ensure the safe and stable operation of customers' photovoltaic power generation equipment.

"Thanks to the high-quality and efficient services provided by the power supply company, our company's new energy generation project can quickly connect to the grid. This greatly reduced our energy costs. They also regularly assist us in conducting equipment inspections, which makes us very grateful," said Feng Zongjun, a staff member from Anhui Lanmo Glass Technology.

It is reported that rooftop photovoltaic power stations can not only optimize a company's own electricity demand but also significantly save on the company's electricity expenses. The rooftop photovoltaic power generation project of Anhui Lanmo Glass Technology is located in the Suma Industrial Park, Suzhou, Anhui province, covering an area of 20,000 square meters. The first-phase photovoltaic installed capacity is 3.8 megawatts, with a planned annual power generation of 3.67 million kilowatt-hours, and can save 4,500 metric tons of standard coal in annual energy consumption.

Due to the company's special production process, the staff members cannot shut down the manufacturing machines and disconnect them from the grid for a long period of time. In order not to affect the normal production of users, the State Grid Suzhou City Suburban Power Supply Company quickly organized the construction party, the owner, and relevant departments to coordinate the construction plan, arranged the photovoltaic grid connection operation plan in advance, and completed the grid connection and power generation of the distributed photovoltaic project in the shortest possible time. Such efforts have saved in business processing time and electricity costs for users.

Since the beginning of this year, the State Grid Suzhou City Suburban Power Supply Company has been continuously optimizing the power business environment and promoting the usage of green energy. The company has strengthened communication with various levels of government in Yongqiao district and the Suma Industrial Park to understand the intentions of enterprises in investing in new energy, guiding them to plan ahead. At the same time, they have opened a green channel for industrial and commercial photovoltaic customers, established a one-on-one full-process service for photovoltaic power generation projects and updated the photovoltaic power generation business ledger frequently. These efforts have laid the foundation for the smooth implementation of many projects.

As of now, the company has completed the grid connection of 11 industrial enterprise photovoltaic projects with a total installed capacity of 14.2 MW. They have organized more than 100 inspections for photovoltaic equipment safety hazards and guided users in completing more than 20 defect rectifications. Their achievements have enhanced customer satisfaction in electricity usage and are very beneficial to the local industry in green, low-carbon and high-quality development.
