Central China's Henan province has recently optimized its time-of-use electricity pricing mechanism, aiming to better balance power supply and demand and promote the efficient consumption of new energies.
In response, the local power supplier has intensified efforts to ensure the smooth implementation of the new mechanism.
For example, the State Grid's power supply company in Dengzhou, a county-level city in Henan, has trained and tested all its marketing staff to assist the government in clearly explaining the new mechanism to customers.
The company has also enhanced the monitoring of electricity consumption for major customers to calculate electricity costs more accurately and develop more effective risk management strategies.
Professionals have been dispatched to visit local firms and guide them in adjusting production schedules in line with the new mechanism. These measures have helped firms reduce costs and increase efficiency, while also improving customer satisfaction.
Efforts have also been made to conduct random inspections on the implementation of the mechanism and impose strict penalties on incompetent workers.
The company stated that it will continue to improve customer services, ensure a reliable power supply for local firms, and contribute to their further growth.
