Chinese smartphone maker Oppo launched on Thursday its Find X8 series featuring a camera system co-engineered with Swedish optics brand, Hasselblad, and said that the upcoming lineup is expected to be available both in China and the global market.

The latest Oppo Find X8 Pro features a 50 MP, or megapixel, quad-camera setup at the back with an additional 50MP telephoto camera. The standard model boasts a triple-camera setup with primary, ultra-wide, and portrait cameras.

The company also unveiled a new "Mag" wireless charging accessory for the smartphone that offers Apple MagSafe-like magnetic wireless charging of up to 50W.

Pete Lau, senior vice-president and chief product officer at Oppo, said: "The Find X8 series sets a new standard for smartphone excellence, combining our superior Hasselblad Master Camera System with next-generation performance, battery technology and a leap forward for Oppo AI as part of ColorOS 15.

He continued to emphasize commitment to global customers, as Oppo looks forward to expanding the availability of its upcoming flagship Find X8 series to overseas markets, the company said.
