To boost bilateral cultural exchanges, the "Experience China" Inner Mongolia Cultural Week series of events started in Ulaanbaatar, capital of Mongolia, on Nov 4.

The events, which run to Nov 7, are being co-hosted by the Information Office of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional People's Government, the Chinese Embassy in Mongolia and the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth of Mongolia.

The events include a special Shaolin martial arts performance, screening of great audio-visual works, Chinese TV dramas, a Chinese film week and traditional Mongolian medicine consultations.

On the opening night, the special Shaolin martial arts performance Wuhun was staged in Ulaanbaatar.

Over 30 kung fu performers took turns demonstrating things like Baduanjin, a Chinese aerobic exercise and hard qigong – a traditional breathing exercise that strengthens the body's resilience and ability to withstand external impact forces – presenting the cultural charms of traditional Chinese martial arts.
