School management service eyes China market

Eyeing huge growth potential in the China market, private education provider GEMS Education has recently announced the launch of its new product, First Schools Management Services, offering customized school management solutions worldwide.

"With almost 200 million students, China is a priority market for us," said the Dubai-based educational institute, adding that it will partner with schools in both private and public schools worldwide to enhance operational efficiencies, raise standards of education, and support leadership in achieving sustainable success and growth.

The services are designed to facilitate school management in areas such as site selection, procurement, IT infrastructure, community engagement, and health and safety. The bespoke approach also offers varying levels of involvement, from short-term advisory support to comprehensive, on-site school management solutions.

"Schools around the world face many challenges, but with the right management services tailored to their unique needs, they can focus on what truly matters – delivering exceptional education to their students. We aim to share this knowledge to support schools across the globe," said Sunny Varkey, chairman and founder of GEMS Education.

To date, GEMS Education said it has already received a large number of requests from schools to establish the service in China.
