China's private enterprises will work together to embrace another spring for the private economy, said Xu Guanju, chairman of Transfar Group, a leading chemicals manufacturer, after attending a high-level symposium on private enterprises.

His comments came as Chinese top leadership reiterated China's commitment to boosting the private sector through concrete efforts to implement supportive policies and measures during a symposium on private enterprises on Monday.

As a participant in the symposium, Xu said that the symposium, convened at a critical moment, will encourage private entrepreneurs to embrace another 'spring' for the private economy.

"We have already gained valuable experience from overcoming challenges, and at this moment, the encouragement from Chinese top leadership is even more inspiring," he said.

"The breakthroughs made by Chinese AI technology firms make us immensely proud and give us greater confidence in facing future challenges," he added.

Xu noted that private enterprises have grown in the soil of Chinese civilization, inheriting a spirit of resilience, pioneering, and perseverance, which was evident in the elder generation of entrepreneurs and is even more prominent in the new generation.

At the symposium, Chinese top leadership urged entrepreneurs to focus on high-quality development, invest in their main businesses, strengthen their capacities for innovation, and increase their core competitiveness.

Inspired by the remarks, Xu said that the company will remain firmly committed to high-quality development, embrace challenges with determination and accelerate the advancement of new quality productive forces, as well as actively embrace the AI era.

"We will continue to contribute new wisdom and strength to national development and work alongside other private enterprises to usher in a new era of brilliance for the private economy," he said.
