As the 40-day Spring Festival travel rush started on Feb 2, Chinese railway operators have intensified efforts to better transport aviation kerosene, helping ensure the smooth flow of air traffic. By strictly following rail transport rules on dangerous goods, staff members of Yuci Station in Shanxi province have upgraded the closed-loop management on aviation kerosene, a high-risk and critical material. They have refined control measures for every step, from qualification verification, supervision during loading and unloading operations and dynamic optimization of transport routes. Meanwhile, the station has also improved emergency response plans, ensuring zero delays and errors in transporting aviation kerosene through efficient scheduling coordination.
