Parrots on perch for Shanghai Bund art exhibit

A flock of tropical parrots who made Paris their home is the inspiration behind a Shanghai art gallery's first exhibition of 2026, which opened on Friday.

Parrotgration - Etre passeur de cultures, running in the Bund 18 Jiushi Art Gallery, brings together more than 70 works by 15 artists from diverse cultural backgrounds, showcasing a rich variety of artistic mediums including oil painting, ink wash, acrylic and mixed media.
