More rallies, more friendship: celebrating 55 years of China–UK ping-pong diplomacy

Fresh off winning both the men's and women's titles at the World Team Table Tennis Championships in London, members of China's national table tennis team visited Loughborough University London on Monday to engage in a friendly exchange with local youth.

The event, themed "More Rallies, More Friendship" marked the 55th anniversary of China–UK ping-pong diplomacy.

As the Championships returned to their birthplace after a century,participants from both countries reflected on the legacy of people-to-people exchange forged through the sport since 1971 and looked ahead to a new century of connection and friendship.
