Chinese online entertainment platform iQIYI announced on Tuesday that its AI-powered production platform Nadou Pro has attracted more than 10,000 active creators within one month of opening for commercial use, highlighting the rapid adoption of artificial intelligence tools across the film and television industry.

Launched for commercial operation on April 20, Nadou Pro has already supported more than 100 original productions on iQIYI, covering genres including science fiction, wuxia, thriller, fantasy and short-form drama.

The platform is designed to provide full-process AI support for film and television production, ranging from scriptwriting and storyboarding to visual generation, editing and distribution.

"Nadou Pro goes beyond generic AI models," said Gong Yu, founder and CEO of iQIYI, during the company's first-quarter earnings conference call.

"It combines years of industry expertise, technology infrastructure and digital assets to offer integrated services spanning content creation, operations and commercial collaboration," he said.

According to the company, Nadou Pro's creator ecosystem now includes traditional production studios, independent filmmakers and advertising creators, reflecting growing industry demand for AI-assisted content production tools.

The latest update introduces several new features aimed at enhancing production efficiency and creative flexibility. These include a canvas upgrade and a 360-degree panoramic image generation function, further expanding the platform's visual production capabilities.

One of the platform's latest updates introduces a Combat Scene Enhancement Agent aimed at improving the realism and fluidity of AI-generated action sequences—an area widely regarded as a technical challenge in AI video generation.

Another newly launched feature, the Creative Assistant, integrates a database of real-world production cases and multidisciplinary resources, allowing creators to conduct research, fact-checking and creative planning within the platform.

The company said Nadou Pro currently integrates nearly 30 AI model capabilities with nearly 70 AI agents across the production pipeline.

Alongside the product upgrades, Nadou Pro has also launched a creator community aimed at supporting peer exchange, professional training and industry collaboration.

Nadou Pro is also accelerating its overseas rollout, with launches already completed in Singapore, Canada and Brazil. The platform currently offers English-language access to global users via Nadou.ai, while more localized versions are being developed for international markets.
