Diverse lineup heats up summer movie season

China's summer movie season is gathering momentum, with nearly 80 Chinese and foreign films either already in theaters or scheduled for release, offering audiences a wide range of genres.

A promotional event showcasing the summer lineup was held in Beijing on June 25, highlighting a diverse slate that includes historical epics, animated features, comedies, dramas, and documentaries.

Organized by the China Film Administration and co-hosted by the China Movie Channel and other media partners, the event brought together cast and crew members from several highly anticipated productions.
