The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security on Wednesday launched a 100-day recruitment campaign to help college graduates find jobs.

The campaign focuses on sectors including advanced manufacturing, emerging service industries, new consumption trends and areas driven by growing public service demand.

Authorities are collecting job openings by working with key enterprises, major projects, industrial parks and government institutions, while coordinating with industry associations and human resources service providers to expand the pool of quality positions.

Dedicated sections have been established on online recruitment platforms, offering job listings, livestreamed recruitment events, career guidance, vocational training and policy briefings. The campaign will also feature virtual company tours and on-site job demonstrations.

Offline recruitment events will be integrated with tourism festivals, consumer promotions, sports competitions and activities at transportation hubs to reach more job seekers.

Sector-specific job fairs will target high-demand and emerging industries, including major internet companies, artificial intelligence and advanced manufacturing. Regional recruitment events will focus on central and western regions, third- and fourth-tier cities, and areas with relatively low graduate employment rates. Additional job fairs will cater to young graduates, rural migrant workers, unemployed people and others facing employment difficulties.

The campaign will also provide policy briefings, career guidance services covering resume writing and interview skills, and short vocational training courses in fields such as artificial intelligence, the low-altitude economy and healthcare services.

During the first week of the campaign, four online recruitment sessions covering advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence and the internet, biomedicine, and the power industry will be launched, with more than 500 employers offering 17,000 job opportunities.

China is expected to have 12.7 million new college graduates this year, according to the Ministry of Education.
