China and Saudi Arabia have pledged to strengthen copyright protection, committing to regularly exchange legal and technical information in the field of copyright.

The two countries will also encourage their copyright administrators and those engaged in the sector to enhance exchanges through mutual visits and training programs, with the aim of fostering collaboration between copyright management organizations.

These initiatives have been enshrined in a memorandum of understanding signed on Thursday in Geneva, Switzerland, between the National Copyright Administration of China and the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property.

The memorandum signals a deepening of bilateral cooperation in copyright-related fields. It is expected to serve as a significant model and catalyst for expanding China's international copyright influence, particularly in strengthening copyright collaboration with Arab nations, according to the National Administration of China.
