Father and son: Passing the spirit of charity from generation to generation

Touching on the family legacy in philanthropy, Albert Yeung's approach is "teaching by example". He followed his own father into charitable work from a young age, and later brought his young son Alex along to participate firsthand.

"The inheritance of charity is the continuation of values, and it is also about the younger generation carrying on the legacy of the older generation," Albert Yeung said with satisfaction.

Alex Yeung said he learned from his father the complementary principles of "upholding integrity" and "embracing innovation": The core lesson his father passed on to him was "upholding", namely holding fast to the original compassionate intent; the mission his generation must carry forward is "passing on" and "expanding", namely transforming that spiritual into public welfare practices that reach wider populations and operate with greater efficiency.

The father-and-son duo share a common vision of sustaining their commitment to the nation and its people.

Alex Yeung has also achieved fruitful results in linking young people from Hong Kong and Macao with those from the Chinese mainland.

From Albert Yeung's "perseverance" to Alex Yeung's "innovation", the philanthropic map of Emperor Group continues to expand in the hands of two generations.
