China's Chang'e 7 robotic lunar mission has been postponed, according to the China Manned Space Agency.
The agency said in a brief statement on Sunday evening that after comprehensive assessments, Chang'e 7 mission headquarters had concluded that the lunar expedition could not be carried out within this year's scheduled launch window because it had failed to meet launch criteria.
The agency stated that the decision was made in accordance with the principles of prudence, reliability and absolute safety.
