The delegation also toured Shanghai Baosteel Park, witnessing traditional heavy industry transform into modern, intelligent, and environmentally conscious manufacturing. Delegates walked through the 2050 Hot Rolling Production Line, a landmark facility operational since August 1989 as China's first steel rolling line with a width exceeding two meters.

Reporters also visited a zoo inside the park, where sika deer, blue peafowl, and pigeons have lived on site for three decades as biological monitors of environmental quality surrounding steel operations.

Aleksandre Sharikadze, a business reporter and researcher at Palitra News in Georgia, shared his observations on the integration of modern automation within long-standing industrial facilities.

"It is impressive how China managed to adapt new technologies and make them coexist with old technologies," he said.

Luo Bin contributed to this story.
