Media art journey between worlds
Journey Between Worlds is a media art performance that blends oral storytelling, soundscape recordings, digital audio effects, minimal electronic music and live ink painting into a rich futuristic theatre event.
Max Willis will relate a journey from the Sonora Desert of Arizona in the United States to the jungles of Yucatan, Mexico, passing beyond the scientific world, through the ancient practices of spiritual leaders and weaving a path between psycho-spiritual dimensions.
On this journey, the audience will follow a cosmic map that marks the links between a family history, an anarchist subculture, the modern world of the traveler and the spiritual world of his ancient ancestors, investigating the voyage of mankind, on the earth and beneath the sky.
Journey Between Worlds is presented in ambisonics multi-dimensional surround sound to create a virtual environment using digital and analogue audio, interaction programming and computer-human interface elements.
Max Willis is an international artist with roots in the Americas and Germany. A painter, performer, interaction programmer and post-production specialist, he uses diverse artistic techniques to relate a unique performance experience. His work embodies the traditional values of an artist who learned from his father, and the ultramodern perspectives of an artist developing in the digital era.

Delicate and intimate Farewell to Cambridge
Based on the love triangle between some of modern China's most beloved intellectuals - architects Lin Huiyin and Liang Sicheng, and the poet Xu Zhimo - when they were students in Cambridge in the 1930s.
The "small, fresh, concise and delicate" production lets audiences both experience the charm of music and the fine emotional links between different characters.
Accompanied by beautiful melodies, famous poems such as The Peach Blossom and Goodbye Again, Cambridge, which were created by Xu Zhimo, will be reproduced in a novel way to render the deep romance that has influenced one generation after another.
