Relationships: I think my son is gay

I think my son is gay. He's 24 and hangs out with this male friend every night of the week. The way they look at each other makes me think they are more than just friends. I will love him just the same, but how can I find out for sure?

You may be ready to ask him outright but he may not be ready to tell you the truth. It's important in any matter to reassure him of your love and support no matter what his sexual inclination. Finding a comfortable time to get together and discuss with him about his future may be a gentle road to finding out what he sees for himself, just remember to listen and not lead. For his own reasons, he may not ever want to make it clear to you. That's something you'll have to accept and work from.
