Li Jinjun, vice-minister of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC), delivered a speech at the closing ceremony.
"China and GCC states should share their experience to promote sustainable development of the economy and society in China and GCC states," said Li, who added that they should look to youths to further develop the China-GCC states relationship.
Li stressed that China will work with GCC states to work out detailed measures to implement the work of the forum.
Abdul Aziz Aluwaisheq, assistant secretary general of the Negotiations and Strategic Dialogue Gulf Cooperation Council, spoke highly of the forum and expected both sides will cooperate on sustainable development.
The forum attracted various representatives from China and GCC states exchanging their views on sustainable development. Many agreements were reached among the attendees.
