After the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, Chinese people urgently needed a peaceful and stable environment to recuperate and rebuild their homes. The Communist Party of China advocated to unite all patriots to build China into an independent, free, democratic, united and prosperous new nation. Doubtlessly, this is a bright future. But the KMT, with the support of the US government, wanted to maintain its dictatorial rule and launched the civil war to destroy the people's revolutionary forces. Doubtlessly, the KMT would lead China to continue to be a semi-feudal society with a dark future. In order to give China a bright future, the Communist Party of China led the Chinese people to win the War of Liberation, shattering the Kuomintang army and overthrowing the reactionary Kuomintang rule.
