Comical show
Cartoonists from France and Germany are taking part in an exhibition to depict the relationship between the two neighbors in Europe in an ironic and humorous tone. With vivid cartoons as the illustrations, the exhibition reviews the history of how the two countries have been working together to push forward European integration. Co-hosted by the consulates general of France and Germany in Guangzhou, the exhibition is part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Elysee Treaty. The treaty, also known as the Treaty of Friendship, set the seal on reconciliation between the two after centuries of rivalry.
