Technology enables people to touch what is untouchable and feel what is intangible. With art, the experience may become almost impeccable; at least this is the message Guangqi Honda tries to convey.

On April 23, the car company introduced two new dynamic systems and three large displacement motorcycles at the National Tennis Center, inviting customers to feel in person the powerful vehicles.

On the release day, customers also experienced an installation art called rhyme space, designed by ARTNEW and No Boundary Codes.

The art is a new media interactive installation composed of about 460 modules. The modules sense human body movements and develop into different shapes and characters, including conception keywords of the vehicles: sensing, turbo, connect.

Song Liang, the person in charge of ARTNEW, said that the highlight of the installation is its interactive feature, as both its somatosensory characteristic and its cluster routing allocation allow it to create stunning visual effects.

Aside from the module installation, there’s also the engine display area where features of the new dynamic systems were exhibited through engine simulations elaborated by an LED screen.

The roar of the engines from the screen creates an environment where visitors can feel the power of the engines and how awesome and cool the cars are meant to be.

This is not the first time ARTNEW has created new media art for car brands.
